Sommelier Pick of the Week: Jason Pahlmeyer 2016 Napa Valley Red
This week, I am featuring a Bordeaux blend from Napa Valley, the Jason Pahlmeyer 2016. Starting with aromas of cherries and jammy blackberries, this wine has high tannins and intense but focused acidity. The oak aging adds spice and cardamom to balance out the rich fruit notes. All in all, this is a complex but balanced wine.
